They now call it CE (Continuing Education) instead of MCE.
The Provider name and number must be “conspicuous” on the flyer. “This means it shouldn’t be in a small font at the bottom or that one would have to search for it to see it.”
My Provider name and number are as follows: Kathryn C. Wheat School of Real Estate #9977.
The name and number of the course must be prominently listed on the flyer. A short description of the course is also required.
You don’t have to use the entire description that you see on my website. Feel free to shorten it a bit if you so desire.
Please list check in time as well as beginning and end time for the class.
I recommend that the name of the instructor be listed. It will be a draw.
Add directions if the model doesn’t show up correctly on GPS.
You may want to include the cell number of the sales consultant for people who may get lost.
You may also want to include something about the need to show ID as Realtors sign the roster. Something like, “Must show ID” should work.
TREC Strongly suggests that you do not make it appear that you, the Sponsor, are “Providing” the course. They use the word “Provider” to name the school so this has a different connotation than how you may intend. The Provider is the School who is responsible for the class and that it meets TREC standards. Instead, please say, “Sponsored by”.
TREC Strongly Suggests the following order for your flyers:
Course name and #
Provider: Provider name and #
Instructor (optional)
